The 'Shroom:Issue 103/The 'Shroom Spotlight
Hello 'Shroom readers! Welcome to this month's edition of Spotlight. What we do here is highlight several articles that aren't up to shape and then you guys go to fix them up.
Welcome all readers of The 'Shroom, and no I don't have any candy to give you. Also, if you were planning on egging my house, the joke's on you, I don't get paid enough to actually have a house. No seriously, I just jump out at people passing by and tell them to improve articles on the MarioWiki, why do you think GBAToad left?
We had contributions at the start of last month, but unfortunately these soon started to fizzle out and near the end none of the focuses that still needed attention were getting any, but a big thank you to all who did help out.
Time Turner (talk) created George Washington Slept Here, a focus that I thought would be ignored last month, I also thought that File:BlooperNSMB.png would be ignored, but Megadardery (talk) fixed up the quality. Sacred Cylinder of Cheese was rewritten, thanks to Bazooka Mario (talk), whereas Roy Koopa (talk) made a start on improving Mount Must Dash; however the article itself still has the improvement tag.
Anyway, now to introduce our six new focuses.
- File:MiiBYWerehog.jpg (Image Quality) – Werewolves are scary monsters. However, there is a way to calm them, and that's by not having a horrible image represent them.
- Shiftier Boo Mansion (rewrite) – A helpful rewrite may calm the shifty ghosts that inhabit this article.
- Ghost Rider (rewrite-expand) – No, not the spirit of vengeance against all evil, just a cute little ghost in Yoshi's Story that could use an expansion.
- The Koopas Are Coming! The Koopas Are Coming! (trivia) – Judging by the amount of trivia on this article, we'll need a candy factory to sort them out.
- Wario (section stub) – What could be scarier than Wario? I'll tell you what, two section-stub tags (one for Virtual Boy Wario Land, the other for the Winter Games.
- Ashley's Creepy Crew (Wanted pages) – It's Halloween, we may as well create a creepy article.
Be sure to check back here next month, where I'll review the progress made on each of these articles. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments or feedback, or post a message in the dedicated forum thread and I'll reply as soon as possible. Thanks for reading, and get working!
