MarioWiki:Marioverse

The Marioverse is a blanket term coined by the users of this Wiki that collectively refers to every location that exists in Mario's plane of existance. It should not be mistaken with the Mushroom Planet or any other overarching area, such as Outer Space. While the term can be used to describe areas in all forms of media, it is also common that the user is referring only to areas that are connected through the video games. Another term, the Extended Marioverse, refers to other dimentions and series connected with Mario's own.

The name is a portmanteau of the words 'Mario' and 'Universe'.
