Is there any clear indication whatsoever that the other games also take place within this specific book? --™ The 'Shroom 00:26, 3 November 2016 (EDT)

Not really but there's also no indication that Paper Mario in the 5 Paper Mario games is the real world Mario for all we know they could all be different books.
