Metro Kingdom = New Donk City?

Isn't New Donk City just a part of Metro Kingdom, not the entire kingdom itself? That seems to be what Nintendo's implying, judging by the fact that they're given different names. If that's the case, this should be merged with New Donk City, as there could be locations within the Metro Kingdom other than New Donk City that Mario can visit that they haven't shown us at E3 (and to be on the safe side, the Power Moons should've just been listed on that page in the first place, anyway). I would agree that what is on here now should be merged, as the atlas shows New Donk City inside of the Metro Kingdom, so I don't think they are the same. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 08:53, 25 June 2017 (EDT)

Metro Kingdom - the place where it all began?

How do you think the Metro Kingdom ties in with the overall Mario story? Is this the place where he was born? Could he have returned to this place after what happened at Yoshi's Island to do his job as a plumber? Is in the Metro Kingdom a pipe to the Mushroom Kingdom?

All very interesting questions. But because we now see the full world Mario is living in, we can construct new theories about his story. --141.72.130.41 03:12, 11 October 2017 (EDT)
