Mario and the Incredible Rescue is a short chapter book by Tracey West published by Scholastic Books Inc. Published in 2006, it includes locations from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars such as Kero Sewers, Tadpole Pond and others. Like The Legend of Zelda: Portal of Doom, another book in the series, this book includes stickers.

Plot

Bowser once again kidnaps the princess. Meanwhile, creepy ghosts appear and start attacking the Mushroom Kingdom and thePrincess's guards. Bowser has used an old book of spells to create these ghosts-as long as the ghosts guard Bowser's Keep, Mario and Luigi cannot go in there and save the princess. To enter they must gather six special Mushrooms. The two set out in their adventure.
