This is a list of the 62 Power Moons (61 regular Power Moons and 1 Multi Moon) that can be found in Bowser's Kingdom of Super Mario Odyssey.

2 | Smart Bombing |
After collecting the "Infiltrate Bowser's Castle!" Power Moon, the player must go to the Second Courtyard. Mario must collect five Moon Shards that are around the area, after which this Power Moon will appear. | Available after collecting the "Infiltrate Bowser's Castle!" Power Moon. |
3 | Big Broodal Battle |
After collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon, the player must make it to the Main Courtyard Entrance. There, Mario must defeat both Hariet and Topper to make this Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
4 | Showdown at Bowser's Castle |
After collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon, the player must make their way to the top of the keep, where Bowser and Princess Peach can be found. 5 | Behind the Big Wall |
At the Third Courtyard (Front) checkpoint, Mario must capture one of the Pokios and climb the wall in front of him. The Power Moon can be found on the other side on a hidden platform. | Available from the start. |
6 | Treasure Inside the Turret |
At the Second Courtyard, the player must capture a Pokio and go a short distance to the left side. The player can find a hidden wall by dropping off the side, which can be poked. The player must continue poking to the left until they find a hidden area with the Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Infiltrate Bowser's Castle!" Power Moon. |
7 | From the Side Above the Castle Gate |
This Power Moon can be found by jumping onto the roof on the left side near the spark pylon at the end of the Second Courtyard. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
8 | Sunken Treasure in the Moat |
At the Main Courtyard, this Power Moon can be found by jumping into the pool of water on the left side and swimming underneath the structure. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
9 | Past the Moving Wall |
At the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player must go to the left side to find a hidden pair of moving walls that Mario must poke across with the Power Moon found inside a gate in between the pair of moving walls. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
10 | Above the Poison Swamp |
At the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player must capture the Lakitu that can be found floating above the poisoned water. Mario must then float over to the left side where a slingshot can be found, which launches Mario to the roof of a building. He must then go to the right side and can find the Power Moon on another platform near another slingshot. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
11 | Knocking Down the Nice Frame |
On the roof of a building near the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player can find a frame with Japanese writing on it. Mario must throw Cappy on the back of the frame to knock it down, which makes the Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
12 | Caught on the Iron Fence |
The player must throw and spin Cappy onto one of the small Bowser heads on the fence behind the Odyssey to make this Power Moon appear. | Available from the start. |
13 | On the Giant Bowser Statue's Nose |
On the nose of the giant golden Bowser head that can be seen when using the spark pylon near the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player can find a glowing spot. Mario must ground pound the glowing spot to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
14 | Inside a Block in the Castle |
To the right of the Outer Wall checkpoint, the player must lure the Stairface Ogre to break a glowing metal block, which will make this Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
15 | Caught Hopping at Bowser's Castle! |
At the top of the keep, the player can find two rabbits. Mario must catch the rabbit on the right to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
16 | Exterminate the Ogres! |
At the Main Courtyard Entrance checkpoint, the player can find a spark pylon on the roof of the building to the right side. This spark pylon takes Mario to a faraway island inhabited with three Stairface Ogres. Mario must defeat all three of them to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
17 | Bowser's Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 |
At the Showdown Arena, the player can find a scarecrow. Mario must throw Cappy on the scarecrow and quickly collect the Power Moon before the timer runs out. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
18 | Taking Notes: Between Spinies |
At the Third Courtyard (Rear), the player can find a rainbow-colored treble clef. Mario must touch it and collect all of the notes that appear before the timer runs out. | Available from the start. |
19 | Stack Up Above the Wall |
Near the beginning of the kingdom, the player must capture and create a Goomba Stack consisting of 10 Goombas. Mario must then go to the side of the building to find a Goomba button with a number "10" that, when pressed, will make the Power Moon appear. | Available from the start. |
20 | Hidden Corridor Under the Floor |
Behind the Outer Wall checkpoint, the player can find a stack of crates inside the wall with the Power Moon being found behind a few bars. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
21 | Poking Your Nose in the Plaster Wall |
At the end of the Third Courtyard (Rear), the player must jump on the roof on the left side. They must follow the roof to the far right side where they can find a Pokio on a lower level. Mario must capture the Pokio and poke the small hole in the middle of the wall to make this Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Infiltrate Bowser's Castle!" Power Moon. |
22 | Poking the Turret Wall |
At the end of the Second Courtyard, the player must capture a Pokio and poke one of the bombs into two metal boxes on the left side. A small hole can be found behind these boxes and must be poked to make the Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Infiltrate Bowser's Castle!" Power Moon. |
23 | Poking Your Nose by the Great Gate |
At the Inner Wall, the player must capture a Pokio and climb to the Beneath the Keep checkpoint. Behind the spark pylon on a lower platform, the player can find a few crates that they must poke to make this Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
24 | Jizo All in a Row |
At the Souvenir Shop checkpoint, the player must capture a Jizo and place it between the five stationary Jizos on the right to make this Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
25 | Underground Jizo |
At the Souvenir Shop checkpoint, the player must capture a Jizo and go to the right side to find a cracked floor which Mario will fall through into a hidden room. Mario must place the Jizo in between the two Jizos on the right side of the room to make the Power Moon appear. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
26 | Found Behind Bars! |
At the Main Courtyard, the player must capture a Pokio and climb up the wall to the roof on the side with the Moon Rock. They must then go to the far left side on the roof to find a spark pylon which takes Mario to the Power Moon found inside a jail cell. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
27 | Fishing(?) in Bowser's Castle |
At the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player must capture the Lakitu over the pool of poisoned water. They must catch the large fish there and upon reeling it in, Poochy appears along with the Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
28 | Good to See You, Captain Toad! |
At the Outer Wall checkpoint, the player can find Captain Toad on the roof to the far right side. Speaking to him will reward Mario with the Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
29 | Shopping at Bowser's Castle |
The player can purchase this Power Moon from the Crazy Cap shop for 100 gold coins. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
30 | Bowser's Castle Treasure Vault |
At the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player can find a big door by dropping off the roof on the right side. Inside this door is a treasure chest containing the Power Moon, as well as multiple coin piles. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
31 | Scene of Crossing the Poison Swamp |
The player must purchase the Samurai Helmet and Samurai Armor from the Crazy Cap shop and then go behind the shop to find a New Donker that is blocking entry to a door. Behind this door is an 8-Bit section that Mario must complete to find the Power Moon at the end. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
32 | Taking Notes: In the Folding Screen |
In the area with the "Scene of Crossing the Poison Swamp" Power Moon, the player can find a rainbow-colored treble clef in the third screen. Mario must touch it and collect all of the notes that appear before the timer runs out. | Available after collecting the "Smart Bombing" Power Moon. |
33 | On Top of the Spinning Tower |
By dropping off near the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player can find a pool of poisoned water. The player must defeat the Stairface Ogre there to open up a door, which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must capture a Pokio and make it to the top of a spinning tower by poking onto the walls. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
34 | Down and Up the Spinning Tower |
In the area with the "On Top of the Spinning Tower" Power Moon, the player must fall to a hidden alcove on the bottom of the tower to find a key. The player must then go back up to the top of the tower to obtain the Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
35 | Jizo's Big Adventure |
At the Showdown Arena, the player can find a Warp Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must capture multiple Jizos through a puzzle to find the Power Moon on top of a high platform. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
36 | Jizo and the Hidden Room |
In the area with the "Jizo's Big Adventure" Power Moon, the player must capture the Jizos to have them rest on the two P Switches near the higher platform as well as a P Switch behind the entrance pipe. The Power Moon is found in a hidden alcove in the wall near the exit. | Available after collecting the "Showdown at Bowser's Castle" Multi Moon. |
37 | Dashing Above the Clouds |
By falling off of the left side of the Beneath the Keep checkpoint, the player can find a large seed on the roof of a building. The player must plant the seed into a patch of dirt found in front of it. A large Beanstalk will grow, which takes the player to a bonus area. In this bonus area, the player must throw Cappy at multiple Rocket Flowers to make it to the end where the Power Moon is found. Alternatively, if the player finds the speed granted by the rocket flowers to be hard to control, it is possible to do a semi-precise combination of movements over the gaps without the rocket flowers. This is hardest for the last jump, but can still be done. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
38 | Dashing Through the Clouds |
In the area with the "Dashing Above the Clouds" Power Moon, the player can find this Power Moon on a narrow path to the left side. If one finds this Moon to be too difficult to get, one may alternatively not utilize the rocket flowers, which makes the jumps harder but makes the narrow pathway easier to navigate without falling off. | Available after collecting the "Big Broodal Battle" Power Moon. |
39 | Sphynx Over Bowser's Castle |
The player must capture the Binoculars found in the Main Courtyard and zoom into the Sphynx flying over the kingdom, who will reward Mario with the Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
40 | I Met a Pokio! |
At the Main Courtyard, the player must capture a Pokio and go to the top of the right side building (where the Moon Rock is) to find the Bonneter biologist who will reward Mario with the Power Moon after speaking to it as a Pokio. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
41 | Bowser's Kingdom Regular Cup |
Beneath the Keep, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
42 | A Rumble Under the Arena Floor |
At the Showdown Arena, Mario must ground pound a certain part of the floor to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
43 | Secret Path to Bowser's Castle! |
This Power Moon can be found on top of the Island in the Sky. To reach it, the player must travel through a painting located in the Cascade Kingdom. The painting can be found underneath the large waterfall in a hidden alcove in the aforementioned kingdom. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
44 | Peach in Bowser's Kingdom |
Princess Peach and Tiara can be found at the Souvenir Shop and must be spoken with to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom and talking to the Toad outside Peach's Castle (Mushroom Kingdom). |

To the left of the Main Courtyard checkpoint, the player can find a piece of Hint Art. The Hint Art shows Poochy digging on a glowing spot next to a cactus in the Sand Kingdom. Mario must travel back to the Sand Kingdom and find the glowing spot that is shown on the Hint Art. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
46 | Behind the Tall Wall: Poke, Poke! |
At the Third Courtyard (Rear), the player must capture a Pokio and go to the end of the area. They then must jump on the roof of the building and to the left side. On the side of the wall, a small hole can be found which Mario must poke to obtain the Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
47 | From Crates in the Moat |
At the Main Courtyard, the player should jump into the right side pool of water and can find a pile of crates underwater. One of these crates contains the Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
48 | Caught on the Giant Horn |
At the top of the keep, the player must throw and spin Cappy onto the left golden horn statue to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
49 | Inside a Block at the Gate |
At the Main Courtyard, the player must capture a Pokio and poke a bomb into one of the metal boxes next to the checkpoint. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
50 | Small Bird in Bowser's Castle |
A small glowing bird can be found on top of one of the buildings near the beginning of the kingdom. Mario must throw Cappy at the bird quickly before it flies away. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |

At the Main Courtyard Entrance, Mario must defeat the Yoofoe that is found in the arena where Topper was fought earlier. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
52 | Jumping from Flag to Flag |
Behind the Main Courtyard Entrance checkpoint, the player can find a line of flags to the left side. Mario must climb and jump across the flags to collect a key and then must go back to collect the Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |

On a faraway building to the left side of the Main Courtyard that can only be accessed with a slingshot, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must collect five Moon Shards in a hexagon-shaped tower with Parabones to obtain this Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
60 | Center of Hexagon Tower |
In the area with the "Searching Hexagon Tower" Power Moon, the player can find a key hidden in an alcove at the very bottom of the tower. After collecting the key, the Power Moon will appear at the top of the tower. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
61 | Climb the Wooden Tower |
On a faraway building to the right side of the Main Courtyard that can only be accessed with a slingshot, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must climb a large tower with walls that can be poked, including some rotating walls, by capturing a Pokio. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
62 | Poke the Wooden Tower |
In the area with the "Climb the Wooden Tower" Power Moon, the player can find a few crates hidden behind the first wall of the area, one of which contains this Power Moon. | Available after opening this kingdom's Moon Rock. |
