Mario Party Superstars:

Bumper Balloon Cars is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 2 and a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party Superstars. Its name is derived from "bumper cars."

Gameplay

This minigame is a game of survival. The players must try to pop each other's balloons with the sharp fronts of their cars. If a player collides with the wall or another player, they are briefly stunned. If no players are able to pop each other's balloons within 30 seconds, the minigame ends in a draw.

Controls

Mario Party 2

  • Control Stick up – Move forward
  • Control Stick down – Move backward
  • Control Stick left / Control Stick right – Change direction

Mario Party Superstars

  • Control Stick (Up) – Move Forward
  • Control Stick (Down) – Move Backward
  • Control Stick (Left and Right) – Change Direction

Mario Party 2

  • Game Rules – "Use your car's spiked front to burst opponents' balloons! Tilt your Control Stick up to move forward and down to move backward."
  • Advice – "Tilt your Control Stick to the side to change direction. Once you master the controls, bursting balloons is a breeze!"

  • "Use the spikes on your car to burst your rivals' balloons!"
