Real info: I am a huge Mario fanatic! Sonic is my second favourite video game series but, I love Mario games 100 times more than Sonic. I have always liked Mario due to it's great characters, enemies and of course the whole Mario world e.g. the mushroom kingdom, Sarasa land ... etc.. So bright and fun.
-I've liked Mario since I was very young we owned the original Donkey Kong on this strange old system that I can't even remember it's name. I was horrible at it only beating it once in my whole life. We also had the NES and the mario games Super Mario Bros. and Dr. Mario. which begun my real love of the Mario series.
-I never owned a a Super Nintendo but, I often played it at friend's houses.
-The Nintendo 64 was one of my families best purchases Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 and Mario Tennis were the games we owned but, I constantly rented the Mario Party series, Mario Golf and Paper Mario. Although I liked Mario I adored playing as the other characters. Paper Mario being my favourite game on that system. We sadly no longer own a N64.
-I brought a Gamecube and own Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Power Tennis, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Party 4, Mario Party 5, Mario Smash Football, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Super Smash Bros. Melee (and a few more non-mario titles). And I'm still trying to collect All the Mario Titles for the Gamecube as a personal goal! and I am so happy with all these games!
- I have Gameboy Advance and some Mario games for that as well.
-My brother brought a Wii and I play it more than him. The Mario games we have are Mario Kart Wii and Super Paper Mario. They are both awesome.
Wiki user: I joined this Wiki because it seemed so well run and other people who liked the Marioverse as much as me were as far as the eye could see and I thought my obsession with the series could help in editing articles.

My favourite Characters and why ...
Pauline
I like Pauline because she is so different from the other girls and I think she would make a great addition to the playable cast. I like her design and although we have seen very little of her personality she has a lot Nintendo could build upon quite easily and it is already obvious she has a different personality to any other character. (There is more information on Pauline in the opinions section)

My opinions
This section is here when I want to express something about a character or game but do not want to put on a talk page because it is too bulky or long.
Birdo's Gender
"Before I begin I think Birdo is a girl, and even if she was a male to female transgender dinosaur I'd still think she was awesome."
I'd have to say Birdo's gender is not as important as people seem to think. Of course it should be in the article that Birdo may be/or has been Male, but, the people keep swapping between calling Birdo she and it or worse referring to her as male in a negative fashion, which is strange and a bit annoying.
Also I'd like to mention it's obvious that Birdo wants to be female (weather she is or not) and there for should be referred to as female (whenever possible) because, as we all know a trans-gender person would become very enraged if you continued to call them "Bruce" when they had long since become "Brenda". It's only polite and perhaps just to be consistent, also the word "it" seems crude and a tiny bit biased considering Birdo is/or wants to be a girl and outside of the "Gender controversy" (or games that refer to her as confused directly) section(s) of her article she should probably be referred to as female and I'm pretty sure Nintendo mostly considers her female (Super Smash Bros. Brawl trophy description no with standing as I'm not sure that should be considered 100% canon information as it is no purely a Mario game also I take it as a tiny bit jokey).
Whether Nintendo has confirmed her biological birth Gender consistently or not (consistently not being their strong suit in the Marioverse). Birdo is dressed as and acts like a woman.
Mostly however I'm getting tired of the fact when ever some one mentions Birdo people appear from every where going "IS SHE A GUY OR A GIRL?" "SHE IS A GUY!" "OMG! REALLY EW!" "WTF!" "THAT'S GROSS" and then normal people try to explain the origins of Birdo only to secretly discover that most people don't care and prefer being disgusted by something that you shouldn't care about. (Also people tend to freak out over her Birdo and Yoshi, he doesn't care! Why because he is a very very nice personality wise and not judge mental, he may not be attracted to her love wise because of it but he is nice to her you should be too)
Some people are transgender don't be immature live with it, they did nothing to you, there IS NOTHING wrong with them. It's not even really about Birdo it's about the negative reaction to the idea she might have been male, it's sad to see people get so worked up over a make believe thing in a negative way, I worry how they will treat trans-gender people in the real world and I feel sorry for them because they are so closed minded.
Just quickly it is polite to call a trans-gender person by there preferred gender don't be a tool just do it! Wether you're opinion of a transexual is high or low. Just do it. You don't have to go through you're life being mean for no reason. Try to remember that.
Oh! and of course she has been retconned into a girl so this whole thing is mainly pointless. We are an english speaking wiki and she is a female dinosaur in english speaking countries!
