- GreenDisaster (talk) With the exception of the box art and the special game, every single image in this article has bad quality.
Also, the character table would benefit from having the character artwork of each character, like in Mario Strikers Charged Football, Mario Kart 64, Mario Super Sluggers, etc. - Humbug (talk) GreenDisaster has a point, the images have quite bad quality.
- Matik2002 (talk) I agree with Humbug - image quality is bad.
- Commander Code-8 (talk) At first I didn't think this was a major problem but further investigation showed that a lot of the images are pretty bad quality
- Vommack (talk) The first time I went through this article I thought like Cody, but I just went through it again and there are quite a few bad images.

I doubt we can acquire better quality images. The Dolphin Emulator royaly screws up the character models in price for quality. What would you prefer: good quality, but models that look like they've been through horrible rigging or lower quality, but no awkward game models? And I disagree that they're bad quality. The quality is moderate at best, but it's not that bad. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
- Even if it's the best that can be acquired, they're still bad quality. And I have seen much better pictures tagged with the {{image-quality}} template. Also, correct me if I'm wrong on this, but couldn't some with a good TV take a screen capture? GreenDisaster 16:14, 6 May 2012 (EDT)
- I can't say I know anything about getting screenshots but would using the wii version get higher quality images? Commander Code-8 (talk)
- Sorry, GreenDisaster, most of these current images ARE from a screen capturing device. And no, the Wii version will not produce better screenshots. How the capture device displays the image on the screen is the basis for the quality. LeftyGreenMario (talk)

Green Disaster: The character table has the artwork now. Commander Code-8 (talk)
Could you please show me an image tagged with the {{image-quality}} template while having better quality than the ones in the article? Otherwise, I think the quality of the images are good enough, and they are comparable to screenshots in other featured articles. They aren't terrible that you can't see what is in the image clearly. Bad images would be taken by a regular camera on a TV screen, or they're incredibly small. All of the current ones do not fit in that category. So, in that case, I will oppose this nomination if you can't show me a better picture tagged with that template. LeftyGreenMario (talk)

Of course, someone with bad eyesight (me) probably shouldn't be the one judging image quality. Check out the images I linked to and I'll wait for your thoughts. GreenDisaster (talk)
Most of these images don't have bad quality (why [[File:SMG2 dark mario.jpg]] is tagged it's beyond me), they have a logo on the picture, they are JPG screenshots from a game using sprites, they are cropped, or they are bad quality sprites. You can't compare screenshots from a game utilizing sprites. I need pictures from a Gamecube game, not from an SNES game. Some of the screenshots do deserve the tag, such as [[File:Kabbom64.jpg]], but they're worse quality than the ones in Mario Power Tennis due to the low resolution. LeftyGreenMario (talk)
I don't mean for this to be taken insultingly, but since LGM's gone, there's not much point in continuing this argument. GreenDisaster (talk)
