likelihood of badges[edit]
Does equipping the Item Hog badge also increases the likelihood of badges being dropped by enemies? Juju1995 (talk) 22:06, May 29, 2024 (EDT)
--to answer the question, yes, it does. seems like this page would benefit from a link to jdaster's excelent blog post that explains how item drops, including item hog, works. https://supermariofiles.wordpress.com/2016/04/08/paper-mario-ttyd-to-the-victors-go-the-spoils/ is the link [although i should probably get an archive.org version, since it seems to be a self-hosted wordpress that could go offline in the future...] it's also got excellent visuals about how item hog specifically works, but they aren't under cc so we'd need to either ask jdaster to release them under a compatible license or create new ones [not hard, but i don't have the time right now]. might come back to overhaul this page later if i have time
