Wario Pool is a cancelled rework of the game 3D Pocket Pool. The reason the games publisher, Virgin Interactive wanted to rework their game into a Wario game during development because 3D Pocket Pool wasn't getting any attention, no matter what they tried, so they decided to reach out to Nintendo to rework the game with Wario as the main character[1]. However, this pitch failed to come to fruition, so 3D Pocket Pool released as originally planned.[2]
