The Tettoman are seven superheroes-like Tetris Ningen that works for King Tetris in Super Mario. Each of them have a buffed human body in a Superman-like suit and cape, completed with the initial on the chest: for the head, each Tettoman has a different Tetrimino, with a mouth and a five-o'clock shade.
In Super Mario Land 2, they appear in the second part of the volume, King Tetris return on Earth and releases on Toad Town a Tetrimino, then reveals the Tettoman inside each one standing on a nuclear bomb: if Mario fails the King's challenge, the Tettoman will detonate the bombs. Luigi manages to buy some time for his brother and while he trains at the Tetris Phenomena Institute, the Tettoman remain on the bombs for the entire day and night. The next day, Mario wins the challenge, but the King decides to detonate the bombs anyway, but thanks to Areku Hakase, the bombs have been disarmed. Furious, King Tetris calls the Tettoman and the other Tetriminos to him to form the Tetton Daimajin. During the final battle, the Tettoman try to help the King to not fail by trying to keep the rows of Tetriminos from filling the King's screen, but are stopped by the citizens of Toad Town and squashed on the screen ceiling.
In Super Mario Land 3, the Tettoman briefily appears in the beginning of the Ice Hockey story, where they reproduce a message from the returning King Tetris in the sky, for Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach to see.
