On-Again, Off-Again is a 1-vs.-3 minigame found in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Its name is derived from the phrase that describes relationships or events that start and stop intermittently.

Introduction

A Grrrol comes out of a hole on the left. The solo player jumps to hit the ON/OFF_Switch. The team of three moves left to avoid getting hit by the Grrrol as it rolls off screen then return to the middle.

Gameplay

The solo player must use the ON/OFF Switch to make the Grrrols fall through the platforms to hit the team of three as they avoid being hit by them. If the solo player manages to eliminate the team of three, then they win. If the team of three has at least one member standing after time runs out, they win.

Ending

The players' characters are in a different part of a mine. If the solo player wins, they perform their victory animation while the team of three stands behind them performing their losing animations. If the team of three wins, they perform their victory animations while the solo player stands behind them performing their losing animation.
