Spike

Spike is also the name for an enemy found in Super Mario Bros. 3. It appears in Iced Land stages, and attacks by pulling spiked balls out of his mouth and throwing them at Mario or Luigi. A variety of Spike called Snowspike appears in New Super Mario Bros.

It resembles a Clubba. Tolstar may also be a beanified version of Spike.
