Type 4-Player minigame
Time limit 20 seconds to select a key per turn

Gate Key-pers is a 4-Player minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Its name is a pun on the word "gatekeepers," which are people or organizations that prevent access to resources, information, or services.

Introduction[edit]

The players stand in front of three locked gates, looking scared. Suddenly, three Peepas appear and make five keys appear where they stood.

Gameplay[edit]

The minigame begins by determining the order in which the players will play.

There are three gates that the players must try to unlock. In front of the gates are five differently shaped keys: square, circle, triangle, hexagon, and diamond. Each player has to guess both a key and which gate they would like to unlock. If the player chooses the key and gate combination incorrectly, two Peepas appear in front of the player, the key is placed where it was before, and the player moves to the back of the line. If the player chooses correctly, the player goes through the gate, which is then replaced with a brick wall. If a key has been confirmed not to unlock any of the remaining gates, a Peepa comes and takes it away. The first player to correctly guess the key and gate combination wins the minigame; the minigame continues until the second and third players guess correctly as well.
