NintendoWare Bezel Engine is a game engine developed by Nintendo for use in Nintendo Switch games. It was created to aid developers outside of Nintendo in making games for the Nintendo Switch, and, among its features, allows them to compare their source code for errors. Its development was completed in time for the system's release.[1] The Bezel Engine was announced to the public at the Game Creators Conference '18, held in Osaka on March 30th, 2018.[2] The engine uses Lua for scripting.[3]
