“Welcome to Toad's Midway Madness! I'm Toad, and I'll be your guide. I love amusement parks, so I designed my board to look just like one! Please enjoy the fun rides, and leave your worries behind!”
Toad, Mario Party 4

Toad's Midway Madness is a board in Mario Party 4. It is an amusement park hosted by Toad, who built it out of his love for them. If a player steps on a Happening Space on a track, a vehicle arrives from either the left or right and chases them to the opposite side. A player can pay five coins to ride a rollercoaster to the other end while also chasing players and collecting coins along the path. There is a tea cup ride that takes the player to the path pointed by the arrow before changing direction, something that can also occur by landing on a Happening Space nearby.

Toad's Midway Madness has two unique minigames: the Item Minigame, Merry-Go-Game, involves riding a merry-go-round and collecting the item facing them; and the Coin Minigame, Space Rocket Game, involves choosing one of three rocket ships to launch above for coins, the number varying per path.

After winning in Story Mode, the player is challenged to Bowser Bop, and winning the minigame earns the player Toad's present.
