Stacked Deck is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 3.

OverviewEdit

Opening

The player has a look at the six Toads, two Boos, and four Baby Bowsers on the cards before changing to question marks before being shuffled around.

In gameplay, players take turns choosing a card by ground-pounding it. If they choose a Baby Bowser card, which also occurs if they do not choose a card within ten seconds, they are removed from the minigame. If a Boo card is selected, the players run off, and their turn order is changed. A Toad card allows the player to proceed to the next round. The winning player is whoever is in the minigame last.

ControlsEdit

  •   – Move
  •   +   – Ground Pound

In-game textEdit

  • Game Rules"Use a Ground Pound to flip the card and find a Toad. If you flip over a Baby Bowser, you lose!"
  • Advice"If you flip over a Boo, the order of turns will change, so watch out!"

NamingEdit

In poker, a "stacked deck" is a deck of cards purposefully arranged in such a way that one player gets a desired hand. This phrase is also used figuratively to denote any situation where a person derives an advantage through dishonest means.
