Grindel

Grindel are stone enemies in Super Mario 64. They are mummified Thwomps, but have a different eyes and mouths. They try to smash Mario in the pyramid of Shifting Sand Land.
Grindels also appear in Mario Party 2, in Lava Tile Isle. Contestants push and fight while the Grindels move, trying to push characters into the lava.
