Crusher is the third special attack King Bowser learned during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Bowser apparently mastered this earth-based technique because he was jealous of fellow party member Mallow and his ability to control the weather.[1] When used in battle, Bowser would summon a jagged rock to shoot up from the ground, right beneath one enemy of the king's choice. This attack caused more damage if the player could press the "Y" button right before the rock emerged from the ground. King Bowser learned this attack at level 15, and needed 12 Flower Points to use the ability. Crusher had a Magic Power rating of 60 points. Crusher is the only special attack mastered by Bowser that targets one enemy.
