Patroller
On behalf of the MarioWiki administration, I apologize for the lack of notification in regards to your demotion. If you plan on being more active, I would be happy to reinstate your patroller status. --KPH2293 20:25, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
- No problem. :) Your frustration is understandable, and I once again apologize for the lack of notification. If you ever do return to full activity, feel free to ask for your powers back. --KPH2293 20:39, 3 June 2009 (EDT)

Hey Bloc Partier, could you help us with the Yoshi article, it really needs help if its gonna stay a featured article and weve still got a lot to do.General bob-omb 12:13, 24 July 2009 (EDT)
Hi Bloc Partier...
How are you? You never knew me (I think), but it's interesting to see you online (I heard you left the wiki for a bit for school or something). · SMB (Talk) · 22:57, 16 August 2009 (EDT)
Images
Why are you removing those images? If they get deleted, they clog up this page and that is a bad thing to have clogged up. If you don't want them in articles, could you at least mark them for deletion? Marioguy1 (talk)
Hello
Hi there. I was wondering what you don't like about the proposed way you voted on oppose for? FD09
Hm, that might have made sense for my first proposal but not this one. There is no suggestion that one media is more important than the other here, just that they are not all the same, which goes with there not being a canon. The argument that it currently gives no merit to one over the other isn't important because with either argument a user might assume one way or the other, there's no stopping that and neither is the lesser of two issues. The point of making it more organized is not to give one more importance over the other, it's to make it more organized. The idea you think it is organized now doesn't make sense because everything is just one to the next. There's no order.
So by that logic you would find it more orderly to put every type of library book in abc order rather than have it broken down into sections like horror, romance, fiction, while still keeping an abc order. You seem to be preferring a more cramped harder to sort through pattern. FD09
Image
[1] This is what it would basically look like. Of course it would say latest portrayal rather than portrayed by. Also, it would have had hair and eyes but at this point in time the voters seemed to not like that idea. FD09
My Proposal
I removed the Bowser??? and Tubba Blubba's Heart examples from my proposal. Please realize those are examples and not immediately affected by this proposal. My proposal is only meant to trigger consideration of merging of such articles, with discussion held on those of controversial disagreement. However, I decided that those two examples were too dissimilar to what I feel my proposal is trying to accomplish, so I removed them. Hopefully this explanation and the removal of those examples helps you reconsider your vote. Thank you. Redstar 22:58, 9 December 2009 (EST)
A while back...
When you still went by 'Infecto' you mentioned in Talk:Special World you wanted to talk about the changes to the overworld once Special World is completed. Was that ever done? I cant seem to find it. Thanks. MrMacMan 05:48, 17 December 2009 (EST)
- Thanks anyway, i never got to finish my copy of SMW. have to pick it up again at some point, thanks for your work with the wiki, i appreciate it. MrMacMan 11:34, 19 December 2009 (EST)
Articles proposed for merging
Elemental crystals:
- Earth Crystal
- Fire Crystal
- Water Crystal
- Wind Crystal (Note that a vote in any direction will affect the three other crystal articles, so it'd be best to just add a single vote and discussion to the Earth Crystal page as that's where the work has already begun taking place)
- Here's a few other articles proposed for merging or splitting, so it might help if you put in something for these as well.
Split:
Merge:
- Bamma
- Flare
- Tubba Blubba's Heart (I'm no longer pushing for this one, since with some thought I don't think it'd be helpful. But, the merge is already up so some discussion would help in making it final one way or the other)

Proposal
Well, it seems all that has died down so...I have a proposal to make about your proposal; a different format because I don't want to have too many proposals going on at the same time and about the same things...anyhow, I had this idea a while ago and here it is in step 1/step 2/step 3/so on and so forth format:
- Eliminate "Splits & Merges" section on this page.
- Use "talk page proposals" to split and merge articles.
- Have the templates {{Mergeto}}, {{Mergefrom}} and {{Split}} used on the articles to display a talk page proposal on the article.
- I can wire something up that will automatically update the proposals page where you list all of this (no matter where you list it) with all the new talk page proposals.
So, what do you think of this? It is basically your idea with a couple adjustments and the only downside being that we will not be able to propose anything except splits and merges on a talk page proposal (which is what you made this proposal to do I'm sure). Marioguy1 (talk)

Helooooooooooooooo Bloc Partier, do you want to be friends?General bob-omb 17:11, 3 January 2010 (EST)
TPP
I have to ask you two different things.
- Could you make a rule in your talk page proposals thing that shows the format of TPPs? TPPs are disorganized and some have no body, some don't say the proposer and deadline. I'd even go as far as to suggest a template be made for them! If you can no longer do this then I'd suggest you make another proposal.
- I also need to know how TPPs are archived. Do we just take them off the page? So if the vote count has less than five votes are they just deleted? Do we archive them in the proposal page archive? I feel there is a lot to come clear about TPPs in the coming months and I hope it is clear soon considering the current amount of TPPs... ( | )
- Well, you didn't disappoint at all! According to your proposal there is a rule saying the different format types so I could technically add that rule to the TPP section of the Proposals page. The archive format is OK - I would suggest a template but that may be to much. Marioguy1 (talk)

I apologize for sounding as if you said that I was not allowed to overturn a previous proposal. I hope to win over your support for the proposal before the deadline. Thanks, Marwikedor 22:50, 22 March 2010 (EDT)
Captain Skull
I know your expertise is Wario Land articles. I have just made great improvements to Captain Skull article from Wario World. Maybe, if you add a few more images, such as the wrecked ship or Wario attacking him or collecting his key afterward (or best of all, all of these), we could nominate Captain Skull as a featured article! Do something good for a great Wario villain! Plus, he has not appeared for a long time, and may never appear again (never say never). I would like to see more marwikians getting to know the character and getting interested in him. Marwikedor 23:54, 22 March 2010 (EDT)
Ahem.
Um, excuse me, but why did you remove that rewrite template from Yoshi's Island DS? If you look at the screenshots' statements, they are written in a way that writer thinks, almost in a childish way, like 'beautiful crystals' and 'kangaroo and Yoshi make friends'. Someone else also agreed that the statements need to be rewritten, so I'll put the template back on, if you don't mind. If you don't agree with me still, reply. Mario JC
- Whoops. Didn't know you're part of the administration team or something. Sorry for offending you. Mario JC
Proposal
Because we don't extend proposals, and it was past the deadline. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
TPP Rule 5
It was missing because I removed it, after being persuaded by KS3 (talk)'s observations on the talk page; I'm so used to dealing with the proposal rules I guess I sorta forgot that other people do care about these things, and didn't bother waiting for a third opinion on the matter - my bad.
Anyway, is it alright with you if we scrap that rule? No one follows it anyway: they just extend the deadline until enough people vote to make a decision which, if memory serves, has always been in favour of the proposal, which hadn't been neglected because it lacked merit, but because there simply weren't enough people who knew or cared enough about the subject to weigh in (or at least make a definitive decision), as is the case with many talk page discussions. I also think the rule unnecessarily muddles up the general NO QUORUM / three-vote majority rules (7 and 8): based on what we've seen so far, I don't see why those rules can't simply be used in the TPPs as well. So, seeing as the currently incorrect extension strategy being used for the TPPs has actually worked out quite well, and in the spirit of making things as simple and user-friendly as possible, I think it would be best if we simply go with the flow and make it the actual policy. - Walkazo 01:27, 27 March 2010 (EDT)
- According to the rules being used at the time, Reversinator's actions were perfectly legitimate, so all we can do would be to re-post the proposal, and change the rules now so that it can't be listed as NO QUORUM again. Maybe instead of simply removing Rule 5 we should modify it and say TPPs will just have their deadlines extended indefinitely until a majority is reached; or maybe we should remove both it and the general NO QUORUM rule, since extending normal proposal deadlines should work fine too, and it's not like we had to use the rule very often anyway... - Walkazo 17:52, 27 March 2010 (EDT)
- Maybe we should run it by the other Admins first, since removing the NO QUORUM policy entirely is a bit too important for just the two of us to decide, and the others should be kept in the loop about these things. (I don't think it's significant enough for a proposal, though.) I'm heading on to the forums now, so I can tell them. - Walkazo 21:59, 27 March 2010 (EDT)

- Well, ordinarily when someone gets promoted from patroller to sysop and then from sysop to bureaucrat, I copy/paste the congratulations message that I used before unless I can think of something better...I can see this won't work here so I'll just think of a whole new message: Good job! (wittiest congratulations EVER :P). P.S. You have to update your userpage. ( | )

Smithy trivia
I would politely disagree with your decision to remove it. I think it is an interesting bit of trivia. When you look at it, there have been seven RPG's (if one counts Super Paper Mario, whose battle system is more of a sidescroller). Super Mario RPG (with Smithy as final antagonist), Paper Mario (Bowser), Paper Mario TT-YD (Shadow Queen), Super Paper Mario (Dimentio), Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Cackletta), Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (Elder Princess Shroob), and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (Fawful). Shadow Queen is possessing Peach, Dimentio is possessing/combined with Luigi as Super Dimentio, Cackletta is possessing Bowser as Bowletta, Elder Princess Shroob is combined with Bowser as Shrowser (though not technically possessing him) and Fawful has absorbed the Dark Star's power to become Dark Fawful, while the Dark Star eats him to become Dark Bowser, and both are fought as the final bosses. Bowser (on Paper Mario) and Smithy are both fought straight-out as they are, with no possessions or fusions, though Smithy does transform into different forms and Bowser is powered up by a machine and the Star Rod.
If you are an admin, I apologize for making this seem like I am challenging your decision, I am just wondering why you deemed it "unnecessary". Ghostkaiba297 23:56, 25 April 2010 (EDT)
Warning
Actually... ALL users are aloud giving out warnings. Many other admins have seen me give out reminders, warnings and final warnings, and I was never warned for that. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- So at the very least, you could change the reminder to "wrongfully giving out a warning". Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Huh?Really?I saw a lot of users giving warnings and they are not admins! That's why I gave him a warning!ex:Reversinator, KS3...these are not admins you know. And if screaming vandal does worth a warning, then I thought that worths. But even so, I've seen users giving false warning by mistake and no one warned them.Count Bonsula I need blood...
- By the way. That guy has already 2 reminders.Count Bonsula I need blood...
- I'm beginning to question whether Reversinator was correct when he said "swearing is not against the rules"--TheUltimateKoopa 13:46, 29 April 2010 (EDT)
