Beta Elements
In the debut trailer from E3 2009, there were several elements not seen in the final game.
- A planet shaped like Mario's could be seen. This planet is seen nowhere in the final game and may have been an early version of the Starship Mario.
- Cosmic Clones could be seen in Puzzle Plank Galaxy's Purple Coin mission, but are not present in the final game.
