The Sand Sailer is a ship that appears in Super Mario Galaxy 2. It only appears in Slipsand Galaxy, in the level "Sailing the Sandy Seas". This ship is made of an odd material of brick that dissapears when it is hit by cacti, Incoming Chomps, or Magikoopa beams, however they ressurect after some time. Mario must sail with this ship to avoid falling into the deadly quicksand below. If he can make to the end of the seas, he will be granted a Power Star.
