Star Markers are found in Super Mario 64 and reappear in Super Mario 64 DS. These star-shaped shadows mark the spot where a Power Star would appear once Mario collects all eight Red Coins in a level.Also in Wet-Dry World a star marker would mark where the star would appear after mario collected all 5 secrets.
