Talk:Shady Koopa
Um... I recall this type of enemy appearing in the previous Paper Mario as well. They lurked in the sewers of Toad Town and had the ability to create whirlwinds. Edofenrir 16:53, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

No, that's just a stronger version of the regular Koopa Troopa. I am talking about blue-shelled Koopas with a mischievious grin and the ability to stun you with a whirlwind. I don't know if it was really in the sewers but I have definitely seen them somewhere in the game. They looked different from the other Koopa species by having a different facial expression and acting hyper. They could attack both Mario and the partner when they were flipped...
Guess I'll have to turn on the game and pin down the exact location.

Ok, maybe you were right. I made a mistake. Sorry.

At least in the NA version of the game, they DO increase in power when they get up. I'm deleting that sentence. Pseudo (talk) (contributions)
- No, they don't. I tested it. I made sure I was wearing no badges that might affect defence or damage or whatever, and let one hit me. It did 3 damage. I then flipped it. Next turn, it did 6 damage to both characters. Next turn, it got up. Finally, next turn it hit me for 3 damage. Avengah 01:45, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Godmodders!
Wow, Shady Koopas must be near the top of the Koopa Troopa evolutionary line to be able to attack from their back! Never mind that it's a really powerful attack...
