People are making these stupid and random assumptions that the calico cat is based on Daisy or Bowser, but is it possible that he's Captain Toad because the light parts of its fur resembles Captain Toad's outfit. Name change to "Kitten"?

Considering the mission names "Lost Kitten by the Shore", "Lost Kittens near the Ruins", and "Lost Kittens in the Wasteland", and all of them involving bringing the calico cats back to the mother calico, shouldn't that mean these cats have an official name and this article should be moved to "Kitten (species)"? Definitely should move it (though it doesn't need the "(species)"), I was actually thinking about it the other day. The large calico cat I think then should use the "Cat (species)" name. Mario JC 21:49, February 14, 2021 (EST)
