Mario Party 5 is the fifth installment in the Mario Party series. Noticeable changeds (besides those of the graphics) were that the shops were replaced with a new "orb" system, where when you pass a certain point, you obtain an orb. This change was met by some with open arms, but also in some cases, protested.
Story Mode in this game involved a character of your choice going against Bowser and his Koopa Kids in all of the stages, and then facing Bowser one on one.
