Down & Outie is one of Wario's microgames in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! in the Anything Goes folder and one of Wario Deluxe's microgames in WarioWare Gold. The name comes from the boxing phrase "Down and out".

Gameplay[edit]

The objective of the microgame is to cover up Wario's belly within the time limit. Stretching the shirt too far over his belly causes it to rip.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![edit]

  • 1st level difficulty: Wario wears a blue shirt that stretches slowly, covering his belly in about 4 beats.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Wario wears a pink shirt that stretches faster, covering his belly in about 3 beats.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Wario wears an orange shirt that stretches even faster, covering his belly in about 2 beats.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

All shirts in this version cover the belly in about 4 beats.

  • 1st level difficulty: Wario wears a purple shirt that stretches normally. When it covers too much, the shirt rips off.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Wario wears a blue shirt and is muscular. When it covers too much, the shirt rips off a larger hole, and a dramatic sting can be heard.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Wario wears a red shirt, is fatter, and his belly button is sticking out. When it covers too much, the shirt rips off, leaving several holes and a belly button.
