Open Wide is one of Young Cricket and Master Mantis' microgames in WarioWare: Move It!

Gameplay[edit]

The player controls a hippo and must eat the food that the human throws towards it with his pitchfork. The hippo should have its mouth open so that the food goes into its mouth, then close it to eat the food. On the first two levels, the hippo has to eat two food items, but on the last level, the hippo has to eat three food items. In multiplayer, one player controls the hippo while another controls the human using the "Tug-of-War" form, who must throw the food towards the hippo using the pitchfork.

  • Level 1: The hippo has to eat two pieces of food and the human throws it very slowly giving it plenty of time to react. If successful, the hippo grows a few big leaves on its head while a short chime plays.
  • Level 2: The hippo has to eat two pieces of food, but the human throws the food a little more quickly. If successful, the hippo grows apples resembling pigtails on its head while a longer chime plays.
  • Level 3: The hippo has to eat three pieces of food and the human throws the food very quickly. If successful, the hippo grows watermelons resembling a double-bun hairstyle with bananas shaped like hearts on its head while an even longer chime plays.
