Fake Yoshis are Shy Guys disguising as Yoshi that appear in Yoshi's New Island. They appear in World 2-2, Inside the Outside, and can be summoned by striking a block. A Fake Yoshi then appears on the opposite side of the screen from the Yoshi. The Yoshi must lead the Fake Yoshi into a spike pit, this being possible because the player also controls the Fake Yoshi.

Profiles and statistics

  • Shogakukan guide: にせヨッシーに化けて、こちらとまったく同じ動きをする。直接は攻擊できないので、こちらと同じように動く性質を利用し、針山に落として倒そう。 (It is a fake Yoshi, and moves in exactly the same way as this one. Since you cannot attack it directly, take advantage of the fact that it moves in the same way as you do, and drop it into a needle pit to defeat it.)[1]
