[[Mario]] can [[jump]] or throw a [[fireball]] to defeat a Bear and control its ball. Mario can use the ball to safely cross spiked floors and get to previously unreachable areas.

A Bear also appears on the "Printing" screen of the [[Game Boy Camera]].
