'''Blasta Mechakoopas''' are a variant of [[Mechakoopa]]s that first appear in ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]''. They are red and pink colored versions of standard Mechakoopas that fire homing [[Bull's-Eye Bill]]-like missiles from their mouths. These missiles explode shortly after being launched, which are capable of destroying blocks and defeating enemies. A similar enemy, the [[Zappa Mechakoopa]], appears alongside them in the game's 3.0.0 update. In the nighttime ground theme, they gain rocket boosters, and can fly for a short period of time, like their normal and Zappa variants.

As with their normal and Zappa counterparts, Blasta Mechakoopas do not appear in the ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]'' game style.

In the Super Mario Mash-up in ''[[Minecraft]]'', Zoglins are replaced with Blasta Mechakoopas.
