Page 27.</ref> are squishy pink block-like enemies that appear in ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]''. Their name is a play on "blocker", referring to their shape and how they block the player, and "lurk". They are introduced in [[Shadow-Play Alley]]. Blurkers appear in groups and primarily serve as guardians to secret passages. Contact with one damages the player.

Blurkers can be temporarily disposed of by any normal means of attack except [[jump]]s, by striking a nearby [[gong]], or by use of the touchscreen and microphone functions on the [[Wii U#Wii U GamePad|Wii U GamePad]], although they quickly respawn upon being defeated this way. They can be defeated permanently through the use of a [[Mega Mushroom]], a [[Potted Piranha Plant]], [[White Tanooki Mario]], or [[Lucky Cat Mario]].

Blurkers are also found in the [[Wii U]] version of ''[[Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker]]'', where they reappear in Shadow-Play Alley.

Blurkers reappear in the game's [[Nintendo Switch]] enhanced port ''[[Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury]]''.

Given their Japanese name of "Mokomoko," and how they appear in groups forming large walls, Blurkers were likely inspired by {{wp|Mokumokuren}}, a {{wp|yokai}} consisting of many pairs of eyes lined up across a decrepit {{wp|shoji|paper wall}}.
