'''Bob-ulks''' are purple [[Bob-omb]]s that are the strongest and most armored variant of Bob-ombs. Their name is word play on "bulk", meaning very large. Bob-ulks are solely found in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''{{'}}s [[Pit of 100 Trials (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Pit of 100 Trials]]. [[Goombella]] says that they are the biggest Bob-ombs she has ever seen, despite their slightly weaker variant, [[Bulky Bob-omb]], being slightly larger in the [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door bestiary|Tattle Log]].

Just like their relatives, Bob-ulks always go through the following pattern of moves:
#Lights its fuse
#Increases defense by 3
#Increases attack by 3
#Charges attack by 9
#Explodes

Also like their relatives, Bob-ulks can be instantly detonated with any fire or explosive attack (except [[Clock Out]]), dealing 4 damage plus any accumulated boosts to Mario, his partner, and all other enemies. The explosion will chain-react with other Bob-ulks.
