Like most calm enemies, this enemy is usually found asleep.  If [[Princess Peach]] moves too fast, it will wake up and attack like a normal cannon enemy.

According to the game's Glossary, one should "Wipe this foe out as it sleeps calmly."

Strangely, the Calm Cannon looks more like a calmer version of the ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'' enemy [[Kaboomba]].
