Charles Martinet#Sampled voices
m−9
Am I the only one who noticed that the Boos' laugh in the remake of Mario vs. Donkey Kong are actually sampled from Charles?

→Portrayals: I know Charles has retired from the roles but i think there is a chance that he could've recorded brand new voice lines for the game before announcing retirement. I mean if the game is a launch title for Switch 2 then it is a good chance of it happening.

Again, not voiced. Don't list if Martinet's voice isn't used.

→Portrayals: It was a short film released in Japan in 2020, and also we can make a article about Save Luigi.

No article exists for this, what is the context for it?

Charles's voice probably WAS used in the beta version of the game at some point… as a placeholder. Nintendo have all sorts of archived clips of his voice, meaning Charles really only went into the recording studio once every few years to record new lines. Beta versions of Super Mario Galaxy from E3 2006 also contained archived clips from Super Mario Sunshine, as Charles hadn't recorded his Galaxy-specific lines yet. Including a beta version of a game is silly… as these were likely placeholders.

→Portrayals: Charles's voice was problably used in the beta for Mario Wonder. The development for Mario Wonder started right after New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe released which was early 2019, and Charles's last game was Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope in late 2022. So im pretty sure he was in the beta, we did see a beta of Mario Wonder but it was only 2 videos and many screenshots.

In that same article cited, Charles also said, ‘‘If someday I think I am no longer capable of doing it, I will tell Nintendo to look into finding someone else," meaning that quote was taken out of context. He said he WANTS to voices forever, but is also acknowledging that there may come a day where won't be able to anymore. These out of context Charles quotes only serve to paint a narrative that he was "fired." He wasn't. There is absolutely no evidence for that. This does not need to be here.

I've seen from a lot of sources that one of the jobs he had as a Mario Ambassador, was to promote upcoming games.

It's going by first appearance, and splitting them up isn't very helpful.
