Dark Mini Mario is a possessed version of Mini Mario that appears in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. When a Mini Mario attacks a Dark Mini Mario with Hammer, a normal Mini Mario will come out and the stage can be completed.
History
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars
Cursed Mini Marios are activated without input from the player and start marching onward, interacting with other elements the same way a normal Mini would. However, they are harmful to other Minis and can destroy them on contact. They are also impervious to enemies, long-distance falls, and spikes, on which they are able to walk normally. As shown in Level B-14, Thwomps come to a stop when they hit a Cursed Mini Mario. A Cursed Mini Mario can be turned back into a normal Mini Mario if attacked with a Hammer, Cannon launch, or a slide, after which the Minis can advance to the door as usual.
