It is a dinosaur egg, although what type of dinosaur is never stated. [[Bowser]] travels back in time to the [[Cretaceous Period]], about eighty million years ago, to steal this single Dinosaur Egg, which he then exhibits in [[Bowser's Museum|his museum]].
