First Course, also known as Course 1,[1] is the first level of the Mystery Adventures Pack in New Super Mario Bros. 2. It is the twenty-fifth DLC level in the game.

Layout[edit]

The level begins with a Sledge Bro and a P Switch, where hitting the P Switch leads Mario underground. Mario must then move back and forth on descending stone slabs with Hammer Bros., Gold Rings, and a chain of ? Blocks with Super Stars. After an ! Pipe and a Red Ring, Mario will enter an area with many different rooms to explore, along with two Warp Pipes each in two of the rooms, one normal-sized one and one small one, that lead Mario to a stone elevator going up. From there, he must keep grabbing Super Stars to take out the Sledge Bros. and hitting P Switches to get past the Brick Block enclosures. The stone elevator eventually leads to an area with the Goal Pole.

Star Coins[edit]
