'''Fuzzipede''' is a character whose only appearance is in ''[[Paper Mario]]''. Fuzzipede is a "caterpillar" that hangs out it front of the [[Toad Town]]s docks with his pal, [[Fishmael]].

After [[Mario]] defeats [[General Guy]] and his [[Shy Guy]]s in [[Shy Guy's Toy Box]] during the events of the end of Chapter 4, Mario comes back to [[Toad Town]] as usual and decides to go to the docks to get to [[Lavalava Island]] to get the fifth [[Star Spirit]], [[Misstar]]. Mario sees a [[Whale (character)|Whale]] having a belly-ache, the Whale begged to Mario to check its stomach. After that, the Whale opens up its mouth and Mario makes his way into its belly. Inside, Mario sends [[Watt]] out to light up the darkness, Fuzzipede is revealed hanging from the ceiling. Fuzzipede starts to jump around the Whale's belly; but Mario fights him and forces him out of the Whale.


The '''Fuzzipede''' is a character who only appears in ''[[Paper Mario]]''. The Fuzzipede is a [[Fuzzy]]-like caterpillar that is seen in front of the [[Toad Town]] docks as [[Fishmael]] attempts to use him as bait. He speaks with a {{wp|Southern American English|Southern American accent}}. Though based on a caterpillar, his name is a portmanteau of "fuzzy" and "centipede" or "millipede".
After Mario defeats Fuzzipede, he explains that he got eaten by the whale while trying to get away from Fishmael. By then, the Whale says that he is actually feeling good now that Fuzzipede is off his stomach wall. Then water starts to fill up the Whale's Belly, popping Mario, his partners and Fuzzipede out through his blow-hole. Fuzzipede forgives the whale after getting out of the belly as he goes away.

During the fight, only Watt can be used, as it is too dark in the whale's belly to attack with any of Mario's other partners. This means that he cannot be [[tattle]]d by [[Goombario]] during the battle, although he can be field tattled at other points in time. In battle, the Fuzzipede is capable of disabling Mario's hammer and jump attacks. As a ceiling enemy, he can only be hurt with quake moves or flying tackles such as Watt's standard attack.

==Trivia==
*During the fight against Fuzzipede, since Mario can only use [[Watt]] in the battle, due to the fact that the inside of the Whale's Belly will be too dark for Mario and his partner to attack, the player cannot get [[Goombario]]'s battle [[Tattle]] for this enemy.
*If [[Watt]] paralyzes Fuzzipede when he's on the ceiling, makes him fall down, and defeats him. He will be defeated backwards oddly.
