| Undisturbed, Hurt Plants look exactly like undisturbed [[Heart Plant]]s, having a long, yellow, curled-up stem with a blue tip and banding and a pair of green leaves at its base. When attacking, they unfurl and their stems split to reveal a long mouth with sharp teeth and copious amounts of saliva.

| Hurt Plants are found throughout [[Jade Jungle]], disguising themselves as Heart Plants. When interacted with, they will reveal themselves and give off a loud hiss, initiating a battle with [[Mario]].
