The German strategy guide and Spanish Nintendo website both refer to the Lightfish as Glimmer;<ref name=GermanGuide /><ref name=SpanishSite /> the former also features artwork of the Lightfish with a mildly different appearance, much more similar to the ''Donkey Kong Country 2'' Animal Friend.
