In ''Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon'', mummies first appear in the [[Old Clockworks]] during the mission, [[Underground Expedition]]. They slowly walk towards [[Luigi]], and once they are close enough, they try to grab him, causing 20 damage if successful. Luigi must remove their mummy wrappings, as they cannot be sucked up into the [[Poltergust 5000]]; if a [[Strobulb]] charge is used on one, it will charge a small distance directly at Luigi, and if it hits a wall, it will collapse and one of its wrappings will come loose. Luigi must use the Poltergust 5000 to suck up the loose wrapping, use a Power Surge and the wrappings will fly off, revealing a [[Greenie]] utilizing fake arms and stilts. If Luigi is not fast enough, it will get back up. Alternatively, Luigi may also shine the Strobulb while he is behind a source of fire; if the mummy runs into the fire, its disguise will immediately be burned away, revealing the Greenie. After this, the Greenie will act normally.

In certain missions of the [[Treacherous Mansion]], mummies make a reappearance, with [[Strong Greenie]]s under the wrappings instead; otherwise, they act the same.

Mummies return in ''Luigi's Mansion 3'', where they appear inside the pyramid in the [[Tomb Suites]] and rarely in the [[Master Suite]]. In this game, mummies can have either [[Goob]]s or [[Slinker]]s inside of them, or in one case, a [[Golden Goob]]. They have the same behavior as they do in the previous game and can be defeated the same way. There are additional ways to defeat them. [[Burst]]ing once causes them to stumble and another Burst knocks them over. Slamming a ghost into a mummy also has the same effect. The Boo-faced boulder in the Tomb Suites pulls off their wrappings as well.

They appear as one of the various enemies that can spawn in the [[Dracula's Castle]] stage. They also appear in [[Simon Belmont]] and [[Richter Belmont]]'s reveal trailer, where [[Luigi]] is briefly seen fighting them with his [[Poltergust G-00]]'s [[Strobulb]] and with a [[Suction Shot]] (to no avail).
