The Thousand-Year Door description A dish made by Zess T. Replenishes 15 HP and 5 FP.
Super Paper Mario description A lavish shroom dish. Fills 30 HP and cures poison.

A Mushroom Roast (known as a Shroom Roast in the GameCube version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and a Roast Shroom Dish in Super Paper Mario) is a recipe in the Paper Mario series.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Mushroom Roasts are created by Zess T. by cooking either a Slow Mushroom or a Life Mushroom. Mushroom Roasts can restore fifteen HP and five FP when used; they can be used in battle, as well as out of it, so long as there is HP or FP to restore.

In Super Paper Mario, the Roast Shroom Dish is made by Saffron. It is a lavish shroom dish that replenishes thirty HP and cures poison. It is made from a Super Shroom Shake or a Life Shroom. It is advisable to use a Life Shroom to make this dish, since they only cost 50 coins when bought from Yold Town; whereas the Roast Shroom Dish sells for 96 coins.

This item replaces the Hot Shroom from Paper Mario.
