The '''Necklace''' is a key item in ''[[Mario Party Advance]]''. It is one of three potential gifts for [[Bowser]], alongside the [[Bracelet]] and the [[Ring (Mario Party Advance)|Ring]], during [[Bestest Buds]]. It becomes available at the item shop, [[Junk]], once the player visits Bowser at the [[Bowser Pad]] and he asks them to figure out which gift he wants the most. He gives them a couple of hints, saying that he likes bracelets and necklaces equally and that he prefers rings to bracelets. The answer is the Ring, meaning that the Necklace is not what he wants. Regardless, [[Paratroopa (character)|Paratroopa]] at the shop comments that Bowser is going to appreciate it. If the Necklace is brought to Bowser, he immediately rejects the gift, which forces the player to restart the quest from the beginning. The Necklace cannot be returned to the item shop if chosen.
