A Paper Macho Lava Bubble is a very rare type of Paper Macho Soldier in Paper Mario: The Origami King. They only appear in Hotfoot Crater, working with small Paper Macho Goombas and parachuting Paper Macho Bob-ombs, referred to as a single entity as "Paper Macho Crater Crashers" in their Collectible Treasure name in the Musée Champignon. Once the Paper Macho Bob-ombs fall into they lava, they turn into Paper Macho Lava Bubbles and jump out of the lava and bounce on the floor twice in a fixed pattern in an attempt to hit Mario. Unlike normal Lava Bubbles, Paper Macho Lava Bubbles leave behind a short burst of flame in their wake, and can bounce on land without dissipating. They are one of the only Paper Macho Soldiers that have no King Olly sticker.
