Mario Kart DS[edit]
This game article has characters, courses and karts, but that's all. Battle Mode? VS? Mission? Wi-Fi? As a sub-goal, let's expand on this page. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 01:38, 20 August 2006 (EDT)
Tacky[edit]
Can you seperate the race courses template by game, so that the tracks pages will only show what games it was from?
- Yoshi Mastar
- Do you mean that the the template would only show courses in just one game? That would require exactly six templates instead of one. Why would we want that? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 05:32, 17 August 2006 (EDT)
Cause a huge template taking up half the size of the screen looks bad. Is it hard to break it up for each game?
- Yoshi Mastar
- Looks bad?? You can go inbetween each race course with that template, and the colors look quite nice. Wikipedia's Mario series templates are just as big. I've been trying to figure out how to add a hide/show feature, but I haven't yet. I would like to know if anyone else thinks that the template's size is annoying. Merging Repeat Courses[edit]
Especially in Super Mario Kart, there are many courses with the same name but climbing numbers. To avoid boring stubs, I suggest merging Mario Circuits and other repeat names, making one good article instead of several stubs. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 14:48, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
Battle Course Stubs[edit]
Going through the created battle courses to add them to Category: Battle Courses, quite a few of them were stubs. Can I get some help adding a few more sentences, at least? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 00:04, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
Bowser's Castle[edit]
Alright, we have an issue on Bowser Castle and Bowser's Castle.
I know for sure that in MKDS it is Bowser's Castle. If any of the courses or sets of courses in a game is Bowser Castle (no 's), please let us know here so we can name it properly, otherwise all Bowser's Castle courses will go under the name with the 's. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:43, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- My copy of MKDS says Bowser Castle, no 'S. Both tracks. Wikipedia says it's Bowser Castle too, on the respective game pages. SaltyTalk! 23:50, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- In that case, I haven't played the game in awhile, so I'm forgetting (I thought I knew!). I still suggest merging all Bowser Castles into one article, noting that some games it's Bowser's Castle and others Bowser Castle. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 00:02, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- However, my copy of MK:DD!! says Bowser's Castle, with the 'S. =/ Monty Mole 12:32, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

Reminder: Linking Games[edit]
Please link games the first time using [[ and ]]. (Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart DS) Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 14:49, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
New Courses[edit]
I'm definitely willing to help out on this, but I only have Double Dash!! Just wanted to let you know. Monty Mole
- In that case, your assignment is to help create articles for courses in Double Dash!! ;) Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 12:05, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- Aye aye, mon capitan! Monty Mole
Mario Kart Super Circuit[edit]
From Salty on Mariowiki talk:PipeProject:
- It turns out we did have a page for Mario Kart Super Circuit, the title not having the colon. It is correct that way, so that cancels out a large part of this project.
Indeed, now the 3rd goal will be to perfect the game pages. Thanks for the tip, Salty! Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 13:02, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
I'm in, too![edit]
I'll readily join, as I have played excessivly Super Circuit, Double Dash!! and DS. I'm also going to order Super Mario Kart in a month or so, so once I've bought and played it, I'll help with those. I still have a few more projects to work on, but once I've finished, you can count on me to help out! (as much as I possibly can! ;) 3DeJong

Organization of Cups[edit]
I think that the courses in the 8 cups should be put into tables for better organization, instead of being a list separated by commas. Does anyone agree/dissagree? EnPeached 14:49, 28 April 2008 (EDT)
I'll be helping out too / Proposal[edit]
Hey just wanted to pop in and say I've been fixing up some pages. (Bowser Castle and Luigi Circuit) Please let me know if I'm messing up a certain layout or whatnot, otherwise I'll continue to do what I've been doing.
-Mario Gamer (talk)
Oh and I've played the arcade ones, if we need facts of those.
Anyone think we should spread out tracks like Luigi's Circuit into individual tracks? The pages are getting crowded with images if the tracks are common.
Shortcuts[edit]
I've been working on the shortcuts for courses, so don't worry about those. I've already gotten a few, so contact me if you think they need improving, or if there's a course I missed that needs a Shortcut section. Hope this helps,

WiiBoy7 wants to help[edit]
I love this series and for my first contribution, I thought I could maybe help out a little bit. I know a lot about the DS, GCN, Wii, GBA and SNES versions.
Some fresh ideas[edit]
I recently hooked up my N64, GCN, Wii, ect. to my computer so I can now take direct shots of the game without stealing them from a website. I was thinking first off of maybe having a page dedicated to differences between two versions of maps if they've been remade in newer games. One example of this would be Bowser's Castle (N64 & Wii), which I would post a screen of both versions side by side and discuss variations of the course. Such as the bridge after the courtyard changing.
The other idea I had was, and I know this was kind of decided against, but making repeat courses have their own respective pages. I think that now more and more graphics are being added to pages with icons and screens of the maps and track layouts, I think it'd look better on it's own page. I don't see what having one page would save, other then decreasing a little bit of work.
Lemme know what you guys think. I'd be up for writing these pages, if no one else is.

- Hmmm. I like the sound of that. Maybe you can use that technique to help me with project: describing the palette-swaps on the vehicles. I've been looking at the following[1] videos[2] to observe what the color variations of each vehicle looks like. However, some vehicles tend to get shown at bad angles (such as the Flame Runner) and neither have the color variants for the large Mii's or the small female Mii.--Philibuster Beetle 14:23, 6 July 2008 (EDT)
What about MKAGP2?[edit]
- Can I get Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 info? Mametchi-LoverTalk
Screenshots for Moonview Highway?[edit]
This article needs some screenshots. Can anyone help with the adding screenshots in order to complete this article?
- Ok, I don't need any help any more with this article. Lindsayoris15 (talk) helped with this.
I may need help with courses I will help out in the future though.

Mario Kart Arcade Items[edit]
I've played Arcade GP a few times, and in the article there's heaps of red links in the items section. For some reason new Mario Cards are not avaliable, so anyone who has one can you please help make articles about the items in the Arcade games.
Mario Kart 3ds[edit]
What new feautures and courses do you think nintendo will put in mario kart 3ds? -rosalina1234
