Sliding doors resemble {{wp|shoji|shoji doors}}. In order to finish the [[level]] and to collect [[Key Coin]]s, a player is required to use the [[Wii U#Wii U GamePad|Wii U GamePad]] to tap these doors to open them. After being opened, they remain open until the level is reloaded. Sliding doors are used to cover enemies and objects. 

Sets of doors at the beginning of the level have an indication that tells the player to use the Wii U GamePad.
