They resemble normal snakes except with spikes protruding from their heads. The Snake routinely multiplies by producing an [[egg]] from its mouth, which will soon hatch into another Snake. Snakes can be defeated by having a [[Koopa Troopa|Koopa]] [[Green Shell|shell]] thrown at their sides to stun them and again from any angle to finish them off. Their eggs can be defeated by touching them or throwing a shell at them.
