Giant Surprise is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Palette Prime, inside the Spellbound Woods. The heroes must defeat the Giant Depleter covered in Darkmess. To reach to the boss however, the heroes must travel through a golden pipe, which is unlocked after rescuing 24 Sparks. After the battle, the quest is completed, and the heroes obtain a Gold Prism.

The battlefield is always random, but the battlefield is usually medium-sized, with around 2 levels of elevation. The Giant Depleter appears somewhere on the battlefield, along with a few Flamin' Stooges and Ghostly Walkers. During the battle, Darkmess Portals will appear containing said enemies. After the Giant Depleter is defeated, the battle is won.
